Lesson 1
Chemistry: The branch of science that studies matter.
Matter: Anything that takes up space and contains mass.
Alchemy: A science that was like chemistry, it became popular in the 8th century.
The main branches of chemistry: Analytical chemistry, Biochemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Physical Chemistry.
Lesson 2
Metric System: The system of measurements that is used everywhere else in the world, except for America.
Length: A measure of distance.
Meter: A measurement for distance from the metric system.
Mass: How much matter an object has.
Kilogram: The unit of mass in the Metric System.
Weight: The gravitational pull on an object.
Lesson 3
Dimensional Analysis: A tool that lets you do many things! it’s used to convert units with multiplication.
